What is said about rape victims
Most people: Wow. What was she even doing in the first place? Did she even scream? Why didn't she get help? If she was really raped she would have ____________ and __________. There have been people have been raped worse, she shouldn't be complaining.
What everyone should say: Every rape is different and has it's effects on the victim in different ways. That must have been such a horrible experience for them (MALE & FEMALE). It is their decision if they want to take it to court, if not, everyone should be doing their best to give them their full support. For now, all we can do is send them love and to remind them that there is no way it was their fault. We must help them find power and resilience in a time where they were completely taken advantage.
